How to Make Money Using Free Torrents

August 2nd, 2010

Okay, so everybody knows that torrents are free(or at least you do now). I can’t think of a single torrent site that charges users to join. A majority of the sites make there money by providing advertising space to high paying customers.  So if your a small entrepreneur making money with paid advertising is a little bit out of the question unless you have surprisingly deep pockets.  Of course if you had surprisingly deep pockets then you couldn’t really call yourself a small entrepreneur.

So for all the truly small entrepreneurs you have to find another way to make money on torrent sites. And the way to do that is to “invest” in the fee torrents themselves.  Using pay per install you can make money from every torrent that you upload that receives a download.  All you have to do is make sure that your file is semi-popular and maintain a good connection to the internet so that people can download the file.

The number of files that you upload is totally up to you, but the amount of money that you make will be greater if you upload a lot of files.  Some entrepreneurs are already using Pay Per Install and there making good profits.  Some are making 150-300 dollars a day.  Which is quite easy to do if you create a good torrent that people are modestly interested in.

With the millions of visitors that torrent sites receive everyday you won’t have to do any other work besides uploading torrents and checking to make sure that your uploads are still good and receiving downloads from time to time.  All of the advertising that you would need to do if you were promoting a regular product on the internet is done for you already by the torrent sites.  So that’s one hassle that you will never have to endure if you use pay per install to make money on torrent sites.

Get Paid While Browsing for Music Torrents

July 1st, 2010

Music torrents is how music gets around the world.  Sometimes people come across music files that they haven’t even heard of and they get them because the comments about the files are good. Through this medium torrents are spread around the world. And the same places where you go to get music torrents can also put some nice money in your pocket if you know how torrents work.

There are affiliate programs on the internet that pay affiliates every a torrent that they uploaded is downloaded.  So if you can upload a torrent or have the ability to learn how to upload a torrent you can be getting paid while you browse for music torrents.  Affiliates are paid 10-25 cents for every torrent download that they receive and on popular torrent sites the average torrent file can receive 500-1000 downloads and that’s just a semi-popular file.  If you upload a file and it become very popular you can receive thousands of downloads. So income potential that affiliates have is limitless.

Anybody can take advantage of that opportunity as long as they have a working computer an a internet connection. The number of torrents that an affiliate uploads determines his pay.  So if you upload a lot of files you can make a very healthy income.  And it doesn’t matter where you get your files from as long as you put your install codes into them.  So you can download torrents, repackage them and put back up again and turn profit.

With the millions of people that visit torrent sites everyday you have unlimited users waiting to download your files at all time so you never have to worry about not having any “customers” and because your torrents will remain free you will always get a lot of downloads.

How to Make Money When People Download Torrents

June 15th, 2010

Torrents are normally hosted on popular torrent sites that act as search engines for anybody looking to download a torrent.  All day long people are searching for torrents and downloading them with there favorite torrent client programs. These torrent sites that host the torrent files literately receive millions of visitors a month.  All of the torrents on most sites are free to download because the owners make there money from advertising affiliate links and selling ad space.

But some companies are now paying people to promote there software products.  When they do this that pay there affiliates per install.  This makes becoming a pay per install affiliate the perfect job for torrent users.  By bundling your install package that you get from your affiliate merchant with your torrent files you can receive thousands of downloads from torrent sites and get paid for every download that you receive.

You never have to worry about things like advertising and customer service because the torrent sites take care of all that and you aren’t going to have any customers because all of the files that you give away are free.  Once you become an affiliate you simply bundle your files with your install package and upload torrents like a normal torrent user and wait for your money to come in.

Being a pay per install affiliate eliminates the hassle of running a traditional website to make money because you earn your paychecks by giving people exactly what that want and search for.  If you check your torrent uploads on a regular basis and make sure that there still good and receiving downloads you’ll never have a problem with Pay Per Install.  Every now and then you will need to replace a file that’s not performing well anymore but that’s all you’ll need to do.

Torrents are the popular and familiar way of downloading large volume of data ranging from 1 BYTE to TERABYTES includes movie, games, etc..

The following are the famous search engines for torrents.

Torrentz.com

The most reliable search engine. It does not have its own torrent database, but it search on the other server database and gives the result, thus the result is with great accuracy and efficient.

Newtorrents.info

Downloading a file with torrent is very cost effective and advantageous especially when downloading files, which are momentarily very popular when many people are started downloading. The reason behind this is that when more people starts downloading the file, the higher speed of downloading

This can be explained with torrent principle

The download sped increases to a large extent because more people download at the same time, the higher speed for everyone. when u are downloading a movie thru a torrent u share your already downloaded part of file to other people, when we start downloading, the application contacts a ‘tracker server’ which coordinates all the other application, From the tracker the application finds out where to download from, which parts have the other users already downloaded and also application informs the tracker about what part you were able to download until now – and by that it gives it at other users’ disposal.

There fore

torrent is a file

with torrents you can download almost everything on the net

every file (or set of files) need to have an unique torrent file to download it

to download anything through a torrent you need a torrent client

The original Bit Torrent client was written in Python and it has been made open-source.

Problem with torrents

A situation, when the tracker server is not functional may turn up. In that case we can’t begin downloading, but if we have started already, it doesn’t have to be necessarily a problem to finish the download .Then there may be no one downloading or sharing but you. Therefore we have nowhere to download from. This happens with old and unpopular torrents.

Theoretically a situation when there is nobody that has the file complete may come up (such user is called “seed” or “seeder”) and we simply can’t get the whole file together from the parts other users have.

Torrent clients

There is a large amount of free applications that are able to download with torrents.

Download the clients

uTorrent

The most commonly used torrent client. It is very popular for its simplicity, reliability and also its size – only around 200KB. The “u” at the beginning of the name means micro

Azureus

Another very favorite client, written in Java. It is highly customizable, whilst it has no complicated controls. This application is open-source. The program’s logo is the Blue Poison Dart Frog (Dendrobates azure us).

BitSpirit

A client famous for its possibility to download from private trackers without registration. Most commonly used to download from TorrentLeech.org, because this tracker usually provides downloads at amazing speeds

Torrent expressions

ü Seed is an user, which has the file completely downloaded and is sharing it.

ü Peer is every downloading user, that doesn’t have the file complete. After finishing the download becomes a seed.

ü Leech is practically the same as peer, sometimes it is a label for a peer with a very low UD ratio.

ü UD ratio is a rate between received and sent amount of data. It is modest to keep this at least on the value 1 (share the same amount you download)

ü Tracker is a server, that co-ordinates downloading of all users.

ü Swarm is a summary of all seeds and peers (so everybody connected to the tracker makes swarm).
